Someone Bought The Software I Built. I Still Cannot Code.

A friend in the US described a problem at his salon chain, and instead of recommending a developer I said 'let me build it for you'. This is the story of Opulync, the product that came out of that sentence.

Summary

Last September a friend at a US hair salon chain told me his leadership could not see their own business data, even though it was all sitting inside their POS system. The coding was never the point. Fourteen years of listening to clients turned out to be the qualification, and AI handled the part I could not do. If you understand a problem deeply enough, the distance between you and a working product is much shorter than it used to be.
