I ran the same five sunscreen questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, tracked every brand that appeared, and built a visibility index out of the raw replies. Here is how the AI visiblity dashboard looks for sunscreen brands in India
This post tracks which Indian sunscreen brands get recommended by AI chatbots across five buyer intent prompts; general, oily skin, budget, no white cast, and tinted. The Derma Co leads overall at 70% visibility. Re'equil gets mentioned earliest but barely exists on Gemini. Deconstruct gets recommended more than any other brand despite not topping the visibility rankings. Lakme owns the tinted sunscreen prompt while D2C brands vanish from it entirely. The budget prompt has no clear AI winner. Each LLM has its own favourites, and no single strategy works across all four.
